Organizer guide: Creating recurring events and time slot bookings
Recurring events allow organizers to create an event once and offer multiple time slots or dates for ticket buyers to choose from. This is ideal for events like tours, classes, or exhibitions that occur multiple times.
Enabling the Recurring Events Feature
Before creating a recurring event, ensure the feature is enabled for your organization:
- Contact our support team by filling out this contact form to request activation of the recurring events feature.
Creating a Recurring Event
- Log in to your Showpass Organizer dashboard.
- Click on Create Event from the dashboard menu or, edit an existing event or draft.
- Fill in the basic event details as required.
- Expand the Advanced Settings section.
- Navigate to Event Date & Time.
- Under Recurrence, select the desired frequency.

Hourly: Set multiple time slots within a single day (up to 36 entries).

Daily: Repeat the event daily for up to 36 days.

Weekly: Repeat the event weekly for up to 36 weeks.

Monthly: Repeat the event monthly for up to 36 months.

Custom: Set specific dates and times as needed.

Daily: Repeat the event daily for up to 36 days.

Hourly: Set multiple time slots within a single day (up to 36 entries).
- To add an occurrence, click the green Add Occurrence button.
- To delete an occurrence, click the trash can icon next to the specific occurrence.
- After configuring all occurrences, click Save to finalize the event.
Note: Ticket type inventory and settings apply to each individual occurrence and time slot.
Editing Individual Occurrences
To modify specific occurrences within a recurring event:
- Navigate to the Manage Events page in your dashboard.
- Locate and expand the recurring event you wish to edit.
- Click on the specific occurrence you want to modify and click the Edit icon.
- Make the necessary changes and save.
Note: Changes made to the initial (parent) event will propagate to all occurrences. To edit a single occurrence without affecting others, modify it individually as described above.
