Selection totals
A totals bar sits above the transaction list and reflects whatever your current filters return.
| Total | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Net sales | Sales before fees and taxes are applied |
| Gross revenue | What was collected |
| Taxes | Tax collected on the selection |
| Refunds | Refunded value in the selection, shown as a negative |
Use the chevron beside Selection totals to collapse the bar and give the list more room.
How the list is organized
Transactions are grouped under a date heading, newest first. Each card shows the transaction type as a badge, the payment method and last four digits, and the time.
Transaction types you will see:
- Sale, a standard purchase
- Sale / Auto Generated, a sale the system created rather than a seller
- Sale / Exchange Credit, a purchase paid for with exchange credit, showing a Credit applied amount
- Exchange adjustment, the balancing entry created by an exchange, usually a negative gross revenue
- Payout, a deposit to your organization rather than a customer order
What is on a transaction card
Every sale card shows:
- Buyer: name, email address, and phone number
- Gross revenue, Fees, and Taxes
- Sold by: the account that processed the sale, when it was sold through Box Office
- Transaction ID, with a copy button beside it
Payout cards show the Organization, Amount paid, and Taxes instead of buyer details, along with a reminder that a deposit may combine several payouts and invoices and takes about five business days to clear.
Opening a transaction
Select the chevron at the bottom of a card to expand it. The label switches between More detail and Less detail.
The expanded view has two tabs:
- Breakdown: the items purchased and the financial summary
- RFID: RFID details for the order
The items table lists each purchased item with Qty, Price, and Total. Select the chevron beside an item to reveal the individual tickets underneath it, each showing its status badge, barcode, and the name on the ticket.
The summary panel on the right shows Net sales, Service fees, GST, Net revenue, GST, Settlement amount, and Purchase note.
Adding a purchase note
- Expand the transaction.
- Select Add beside Purchase note.
- Type your note.
- Select Save, or Cancel to discard it.
