Organizer guide: Branded digital wallets

πŸ”œ Coming Soon β€” See below to join the beta program for early access.

Branded Digital Wallets let your attendees save their tickets directly to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet β€” with your brand front and centre. Instead of a generic Showpass pass, attendees see your logo, your colours, and your event details every time they pull up their ticket on their phone.

What gets branded on a digital wallet pass

Your branding is applied across multiple elements of the pass:

  • Logo β€” your logo displayed at the top of the pass
  • Logo text β€” your brand name shown beside the logo
  • Background colour β€” sets the overall colour of the pass
  • Pass colours β€” background, label, and foreground/text colours to match your brand palette

iOS pass layout

Field Description
Logo Your brand logo at the top of the pass
Logo text Brand name shown next to the logo
Header fields Top-line info visible in the stacked pass view (e.g., event date)
Primary field The most prominent piece of information on the pass
Secondary fields Supporting details below the primary field

Barcode Scannable QR or barcode for entry

iOS 18+ features

  • Primary & Secondary Pages β€” distinct pages for scanner and detail views
  • Pinned Images β€” an image displayed at the top of the expanded pass
  • Venue Map β€” a map displayed on the pass for wayfinding
  • Enhanced Descriptions β€” full attendee-facing details when the pass is opened
  • Quick Links β€” shortcuts for event info, streaming, merchandise, and buy-again

How branding is applied

Pass branding is configured in your Branding Suite at /manage/branding/ under Deliverables β†’ Digital Wallets. Your logo, brand colours, and pass colour settings are pulled from your venue branding automatically.

Branding can be applied at multiple levels β€” per ticket type, per product, or per member display β€” so you can use your standard branding across most events while setting up custom passes for flagship or premium events.

Tips

  • Use a clean, high-contrast logo β€” pass layouts are compact and fine detail can get lost at small sizes.
  • Make sure your background colour works with your logo β€” the logo sits directly on top of the pass background.
  • For events with assigned seating or VIP tiers, consider per-ticket-type pass customization to differentiate the experience.
  • Always test your pass on a real device before your event goes on sale β€” pass rendering can vary between iOS versions and Android devices.
