Postponing Your Event

Need to postpone your event? No problem! We can help with that.

Postponing an event can be done in different ways depending on if you know the new date you'd like to have the event or not.

Knowing the New Date

If you know the new date of the event, you will want to navigate to the ‘Manage Events’ page from your dashboard pop out menu.

Don't Know the New Date

If you don't know the new date of the event, you can still set your event to postponed and the date will just show up as TBD.

Postponing without knowing the new date can be done in three places.

1) Event Overview Page

Navigate your dashboard pop-out menu and select ‘Manage Events.’

Navigate to the dashboard pop-out menu and select ‘Manage Events.’

Ensure all of the ticket types are included, and that you have a subject line and a body section to the email. Once complete, you can select ‘Postponed’ from the drop down menu under ‘Update Event Status’ and send the email.

The event will now be marked as TBD, and this will send out an email to ticket buyers letting them know that an event has been postponed, as well as updating the status of it in the process.
