Organizer guide: Updating your organization profile in Showpass

Keeping your organization profile up-to-date ensures that your business information, branding, and financial details are accurate and professional. This guide walks you through each section of the profile settings in your Showpass dashboard.

Accessing your organization profile

  1. Log in to your Showpass dashboard.
  2. Click the menu icon in the top-left corner.
  3. Select Organization Info from the pop-out menu.

Basic info

  • Organization name and address: Ensure these details are correct. They are typically auto-filled during sign-up but can be edited here.
  • Support email: Add or update the email address where ticket buyers can reach you.
  • Discounts and abandoned cart emails: Configure settings to offer discounts or send reminders to potential ticket buyers.

Branding

  • Images: Upload or change your organization's logo and other branding images.
  • Social media links: Add links to your organization's social media profiles.
  • Descriptions and messages:
    • Organization description: Provide a brief overview of your organization.
    • Subscription message: Customize the message shown when users subscribe to your updates.
    • Checkout message: Add a message that appears during the checkout process.

Business schedule

Set your organization's operating hours. These will be visible on your public profile, helping ticket buyers know when you're available.

Enabled modules

Choose which features to enable for your organization, such as exchanges, to enhance your event management capabilities.

Financial settings

  • Fees and taxes: Define any additional charges and decide whether fees are absorbed or added on top of ticket prices.
  • Refund policy: Clearly state your organization's refund policy.
  • Statement descriptor: If using Stripe, customize the descriptor that appears on purchasers' credit card statements to reduce chargebacks.

Thank you emails

  • Enable and customize thank you emails sent to ticket buyers after their purchase.
  • Promote upcoming events and encourage ticket buyer reviews and ratings within these emails.

Integrations

Integrate Showpass with your website and whitelist necessary domains to ensure seamless functionality.

Payment details and authorization

  • Banking information: Enter your bank details to receive event payouts promptly.
  • Pre-authorized debits (PADs): Set up PADs to allow Showpass to withdraw any owed amounts efficiently.

Terms & conditions

Link to your organization's terms and conditions. This ensures that purchasers agree to your policies during the checkout process, reinforcing your refund and cancellation policies.

Event upselling

Enable this feature to suggest other upcoming events to ticket buyers during the checkout process, increasing visibility and sales.

Analytics

Add tracking codes for third-party services like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, and Google Ads to monitor and analyze your event performance.

Previewing your public profile

  1. Click the menu icon in the top-left corner.
  2. Select Public Profile.

Your public profile showcases upcoming events, available marketplace products, and memberships for purchase.
