Organizer guide: How to clone an event
If you're planning to create multiple events with the same setup (e.g., venue, ticket types, settings), you can save time by cloning an existing event. This duplicates your event details so you only need to update key fields like date and time.
How to clone an event
- Log in to your Organizer dashboard.
- From the pop-out menu, select Manage Events.
- Find the event you'd like to duplicate in the event list.
- Click the gear icon next to the event.
- From the dropdown menu, select Clone.
This will open the Edit Event page with your cloned event pre-filled with the original event's settings.
Update and publish the cloned event
- Edit the necessary event details such as:
- Date and time
- Event name or description (if different)
- Ticket inventory (if needed)
- Once you're done editing, click Publish.
Your cloned event will now appear in your event list and be visible to Ticket Buyers.
Troubleshooting
- If you don't see the Clone option, ensure you have the correct user permissions.
- Refresh the page or clear your browser cache if the edit page doesn’t load correctly.
