Organizer guide: How to create and manage products in Marketplace

Marketplace allows Organizers to sell products and event add-ons such as merchandise or drink tickets. If your current plan does not allow you access to this feature, please submit a Request Form to our support team.

Accessing Marketplace

  • Go to your Dashboard pop-out menu.
  • Select Marketplace to view your products and categories.

Creating a new product

To create a new product:

  • Select New Product in the top-right corner.

Product info

  • Product Name: Enter the name of your item (e.g., T-Shirt, VIP Lanyard).
  • Description: Add a short summary of the item.
  • Product Image: Upload a product image.
  • Category: Use the default “Product” or assign a custom category (see below for how to create new categories).

Inventory

  • Variant Name: Name of the product variation (e.g., Small, Medium, Large).
  • Inventory: Quantity available.
  • Purchase Limit: Limit per buyer (if applicable).
  • SKU: Optional product SKU for tracking.
  • Price: Cost per item.
  • Select Add New Product Type to add more variants.

Product visibility options

You can choose where your product appears:

  • Venue Page: Displayed on your main organizer profile for direct purchase.
  • Staff Box Office Page: Available for sale by your team.
  • Checkout Process: Displayed as an add-on during checkout.
  • Include for all events, Include for certain events, or Exclude from certain events.
  • Product Sale Notifications: Alerts staff of purchases requiring fulfillment.
  • Allow Product Transfers: Enables ticket buyers to transfer items post-purchase.

Delivery method (if enabled)

If your account has shipping enabled, the following options will appear:

  • Electronic Ticket: Delivered via email.
  • Standard Shipping: Mailed to the buyer.
  • Shipping Cost: Set a rate for each item.
  • Fee Method: Choose between “Per Item” or “Per Product.”
  • Will Call/Pick Up: Item available for pickup.
  • Do not combine shipping costs: Use highest individual rate when bundled with other items.

To enable shipping, please submit a Request Form to your Client Success Manager.

Financial settings

Complete financial fields before saving. For more details, refer to our article on financial settings.

When all fields are completed, click Save & Finish. You will be returned to the Marketplace overview where you can view stats, edit the product, or copy a product link.

Managing product categories

Creating a new category

  • Select New Category in the top-right corner of the Marketplace page.

  • Enter a category name and click Save.

Editing a category

  • Click Edit Categories at the top of the page.

  • To update a category, select the Edit button next to its name.

  • You can rename the category and view the associated products.

FAQs & Troubleshooting

Why can't I see the shipping settings?
Shipping options are only visible if enabled on your account. Contact support to enable this feature.

Can I reuse categories across products?
Yes! You can assign multiple products to the same category for better organization.
