Organizer guide: How to sell tickets from a desktop using the Box Office

You can sell tickets directly through the Box Office on a desktop computer using two access points from your dashboard. This guide walks you through both navigation methods and the full checkout process.

Access the Box Office

  • Option 1: From your dashboard pop-out menu, select Sell Tix.

  • Option 2: From the pop-out menu, go to Manage Events, then click Sell Tix at the top of the events page.

Both options will take you to the main Box Office sales screen.

Select an event and add tickets

  • The first column displays your events and products available for sale.
  • Events appear first; products are listed lower. Only the next five upcoming events will be visible by default.
  • Use the search bar to find a specific event or product if not immediately listed.
  • Select the quantity of tickets to sell using the dropdown next to each ticket type.

Cart summary and discounts

  • Selected tickets appear in the Cart Summary.
  • You may apply:
    • Discount Codes
    • Ticket Credits
    • Check-In status if the buyer is entering the venue immediately

Enter ticket buyer information

  • In the Details section, assign the purchase to a ticket buyer.
  • Select:
    • New Customer: Enter full name, email, and phone number
    • Existing Customer: Search by name or email

Delivery methods

  • You can choose separate delivery methods for tickets/products and receipts:
    • Print: Downloads files for local printing
    • Email: Sends to the ticket buyer’s email address

Payment methods

  • Cash: No processing fee. You are responsible for accepting and handling cash.
  • Card: Requires credit card details. Fees apply unless absorbed by the organizer.
  • Complimentary: Sets the full cart to free. Requires Advanced Box Office permissions.

Include in Stats: If this is unchecked, the tickets will automatically be marked as complimentary.

Complete the transaction

  • Once everything is entered, you can either:
    • Put on Hold to reserve the tickets for later purchase
    • Process Order to complete the sale
