Organizer guide: How and when Showpass payouts are issued

Once your event concludes, Showpass will generate your payout on the following Monday and deposit it the next business day. This guide outlines how to set up your banking information correctly to avoid delays and what to expect in the payout timeline.

When payouts are issued

  • Payouts are generated the Monday after your event ends.
  • Funds are deposited the next business day (Tuesday) by direct deposit.
  • If Monday is a statutory holiday, payouts are generated on Tuesday and deposited Wednesday.
  • Note: Depending on your financial institution, deposits may take 2–3 business days to appear in your account.

How to set up your payout banking information

To ensure timely deposits, you must enter your correct banking details before your event ends:

  • Open the dashboard pop-out menu and select Organization Info.

  • Click on Payment Details and Authorization from the left-hand menu.

For Canadian organizers:

  • Enter your Institution Number, Transit Number, and Account Number.

For U.S. organizers:

  • Enter your ACH Routing Number and Account Number.

Please agree to allowing Showpass to credit or debit your account to facilitate payouts.

Once this information is saved, your payout will be automatically processed after each event.

 

Donation payout structure

Charitable donations are collected and distributed directly by Showpass. Payouts are handled separately from ticket sales and follow a distinct donation payout schedule.

Here’s how the process works:

  • Minimum payout threshold: Donations are only paid out after they reach a minimum total of $75 CAD.
  • Payout timing: Payouts occur at the end of the month following the donation collection period (e.g., donations made in March are paid out at the end of April).
  • Recipient:
    • If you, the event organizer and the selected charity are different, Showpass contacts the charity directly via email to confirm banking details and sends the donation amount directly to them.
    • If you, the event organizer are the registered charity, they may request the donation payout be deposited into the same bank account already on file in your Showpass organizer profile. This will still be processed as part of the donation payout schedule, not the regular event payout.

Organizers do not need to manually request the donation payout—it is processed automatically once the threshold is met.

If donations for a given period do not meet the $75 threshold, the balance will roll over to the next donation payout cycle.

Troubleshooting payout delays

If you do not see the payout in your account within 2–3 business days after the scheduled deposit:

  • Double-check your bank details in Payment Details and Authorization.
  • Confirm the event has officially concluded in your dashboard.
  • Allow additional time for holidays or long weekends.
