Organizer guide: How to use Attendance View to manage assigned seating
The Attendance View tool in the Box Office allows you to quickly identify which ticket buyer is seated in each assigned seat. By hovering over a reserved seat, you can view ticket buyer information, access their transaction, and take actions such as checking them in or exchanging their tickets—all directly from the map view.
In this article, you will learn how to:
- Access Attendance View from the assigned seating map
- Identify ticket buyers by seat
- Open transactions and take actions (check-in or exchange)
- Return to sales mode
1. Access the assigned seating map
- In the Box Office, locate the assigned seating event you want to view.
- For recurring events, click View Dates to expand all date options.
- Select View Event to open the seating map.
2. Switch to Attendance View
- In the top-left corner of the map, click Reserved to display sold seats instead of available ones.
3. Identify and manage ticket buyers
- Hover over any sold seat to see the ticket buyer’s details.
- Click the seat to open the associated transaction.
From the transaction view, you can:
- Click the three dots (⋮) to exchange tickets.
- Click View More, select the barcode checkbox, and mark the customer as Checked In.
- Click Close to exit the transaction view.
4. Exit Attendance View and return to sales
- Click All (top left) to return to regular sales mode.
- Click the X in the top-right corner of the screen to exit the seating map and return to the main Box Office view.
