Organizer guide: Using multi-factor authentication (MFA) for account security
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is a security feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your Showpass Organizer account. It requires two forms of identification—your password and a secondary verification code—ensuring that even if your password is compromised, only you can access your account.
Why MFA is important
- Enhanced security: Protects sensitive information, including financial and reporting tools.
- Quick and easy: MFA is automatically enabled for applicable accounts; no additional setup is required.
- Peace of mind: Your account stays secure, even if your password is compromised.
How MFA works at login
- Login: Sign in to your Showpass account using your email and password.
- MFA verification: A 6-digit verification code is sent to your registered email address.
- Enter MFA code: Input the code to complete login and access your Dashboard.
Note: MFA is only required for accounts with access to sensitive information (e.g., financials, reporting, administrative permissions). Accounts used exclusively for scanning or selling are not affected.
