Organizer guide: How to set up and manage Group Sales
Group Sales simplifies sponsorship and mass ticket distribution. This guide will help you enable Group Sales, issue tickets, and manage distribution directly from your Showpass Dashboard.

Step 1: Enable Group Sales on your Dashboard
Once the Showpass team enables Group Sales for your organization, refresh your Dashboard. You will now see a Group Sales tab in the Organizer menu.
Step 2: Assign Group Sales permissions to employees
- Navigate to Employees in your Dashboard.
- Select Manage Permissions.
- At the bottom of the permissions list, enable one of the following:
- Group Sale Manager: Full access to initiate and manage Group Sales.
- Group Sale Distributor: Limited to groups they've been added to.

Step 3: Issue Group Sales through the Box Office
- Click Sell Tix to enter the Box Office.
- Enable Group Sales mode.
- Select your event and the number of tickets to issue.
- In the Cart Summary, use Override to adjust the subtotal and Accept to confirm.
- Under Details, create a New Group or choose an Existing Group.
Note: Showpass fees are based on the original cart total, not the discounted subtotal.
Step 4: Issue Group Sales with assigned seating
- Select the seating section and number of seats.
- Override pricing in the Cart Summary if needed.
- Complete the sale to a new or existing group.
Step 5: Track and manage Group Sales distribution
- Return to the Group Sales tab on your Dashboard.
- View and manage:
- Distributors
- Total tickets allocated
- Tickets transferred
- Remaining inventory
- To manually transfer on a distributor’s behalf:
- Click the edit icon beside a distributor’s name.

- Select the item, enter the ticket buyer’s email, choose quantity, and submit.

Can I change permissions after setup?
Yes. Return to Manage Employees and update roles at any time.
Can Group Sales be used with memberships or products?
Yes. Group Sales supports tickets, products, and memberships.
