Group Sale Distributor guide: How to transfer tickets from your group allocation

As a Group Sale Distributor, once you've accepted a Group Sale Transfer and set up your Showpass account, you can issue tickets and products to individuals in your network through the Distribution Portal.

How to transfer tickets from a group sale

  • Log into the Distribution Portal.
  • Click Transfer items in the top right-hand corner.

  • From the dropdowns, select the event and ticket types or products you'd like to transfer.
  • If the event includes assigned seating, you’ll be prompted to choose specific seats within your allocation.

  • You may transfer items from multiple events in a single transaction—no need to complete separate transfers.
  • Once your selection is finalized, click Transfer.

  • In the dialogue box, review the transfer details.
  • Click Confirm to complete the transfer.

  • A confirmation message will pop up to indicate a successful transfer.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Can I transfer a product and a ticket in one go?
Yes! You can include both tickets and products in a single transfer.

Can I cancel a transfer after it's been made?
Once a transfer is claimed by a recipient, you’ll need to follow the ticket return process to void it and return the item to your inventory.

Do recipients need a Showpass account?
Yes, in order to claim transferred tickets or products, recipients will need to log in or create a Showpass account.
