Organizer guide: How to reorder Marketplace categories and products
As an Organizer, you can customize the order of your Marketplace Categories and Associated Products to better highlight key offerings during the checkout process. This guide walks you through how to manage that order for improved visibility and upsell performance.

Reordering categories
To change the display order of your Marketplace categories:
- Go to your Marketplace page from the Dashboard.
- Click Edit Categories.
- Use the move (drag) icon next to each category to drag and drop them into your preferred order.
- These changes will reflect in the tabs shown on your Organizer Profile page.
Reordering associated products within a category
If a category includes multiple products (e.g., merch, drink tickets, or other upsells), you can reorder how they appear to ticket buyers:
- On the Marketplace page, click the Edit link beside the category name.
- Each product will have a numeric sort input field. The sorting order follows ascending values (e.g., 0, 1, 2...).
- To move a product to the top, enter 0 in its sort field and click Move.
- Repeat for other items as needed.
- Click Save once all reorder changes are complete. The new order will apply at checkout.
FAQs & Troubleshooting
What happens if I assign the same sort value to multiple products?
Items with the same sort value may display in a non-deterministic order. For clarity, use unique numbers.
Why don't I see my reordered items at checkout?
Make sure you clicked Save after making reorder changes. Refresh the checkout preview or clear cache to verify display changes.
