Ticket buyer guide: How to use your Ticket Credits
Ticket Credits are prepaid promo codes that can be redeemed on specific events. This guide explains how to apply them at checkout and what to do if they don’t apply automatically.
Before you begin
- Ensure you're logged into the Showpass account used to purchase or receive the Ticket Credits.
- If you used guest checkout, connect your order before attempting to use the code.
- You’ll find your Ticket Credit code in your confirmation email.
How to use your Ticket Credit
- Go to the event page listed as eligible for Ticket Credit redemption.
- Select your tickets and proceed to checkout.
- If you're logged into your account, the Ticket Credit may apply automatically.
If the credit doesn't apply automatically:
- Look for a prompt to choose which credit you'd like to apply—select the correct option.
- If no credits are listed, scroll to the promo input field and click Enter Promo, Discount or Credit Code.
- Enter the Ticket Credit code manually from your confirmation email.
- Click Apply. A confirmation message will show the credit was used successfully.
You can continue using the credit code until all of its uses are completed, depending on how it was configured at purchase.
Troubleshooting or FAQs
Why isn’t my Ticket Credit applying?
Ensure you're logged into the correct Showpass account. If the credit was used as a guest or is tied to another account, it may not appear. Try entering it manually, or contact support if you need help reconnecting your order.
Can I split my Ticket Credit across multiple purchases?
Yes—many Ticket Credits support multiple uses unless the organizer has set them to one-time use. Review your confirmation email for usage limits.
Can I use my Ticket Credit for any event?
No. Ticket Credits are only redeemable on events designated by the organizer. This will be stated in the original email or promo description.
