Connecting Square to Showpass
The Square Stand on its own is intended for events with General Admissions. For events with Assigned Seating, please see this article on setting up Square Terminals, which can be used for General Admission or Assigned Seating events.
Square App Setup
First, you will need to download the Square Point of Sale (POS) app from the app store.
Log in to the Square app with the same credentials you used to connect your Square account with Showpass. Ensure the same location that you paired with Showpass is selected after login.
Make sure that your card reader is connected.
If it isn't, go into your 'Settings' and select 'Hardware.'
Select 'Square Reader' and then 'Connect a Reader.'
Follow the instructions on the screen to connect your reader and accept the pairing request.
If it is connected properly, a successful connection message will appear.
If your Square Reader doesn’t connect:
- Unpair the device from the iPad settings
- Try to pair again in the square app
Leave the Square app open and continue to the next step.
Showpass Point of Sale Download and Setup
On your iPad, go to https://join.mosyle.com
Enter in the code TY09L7 and select 'Enroll.'
Allow the website to download the configuration profile.
Go to the iPads settings and there will be a 'Profile Downloaded' tab.
Click on the 'Profile Downloaded' and install the profile.
Accept and install the Enterprise POS app.
Once downloaded, open the Enterprise POS app.
Login with your Showpass account credentials.
