Our NFC ticketing system simplifies the process of accessing your events, enhancing security and convenience by integrating your tickets directly into your digital wallet. This guide will walk you through the steps to add your tickets to your Apple or Google wallet, ensuring you have a smooth and hassle-free entry to your event. Below are detailed instructions and important information to help you get the most out of your NFC tickets.
 
Adding Your Tickets to Your Digital Wallet
 
From the Confirmation Email: Your confirmation email will contain instructions and button prompts to help you add your tickets to your digital wallet. Look out for this guidance to ensure you can access your NFC tickets within your Showpass account, or add them to your digital wallet!

No Showpass Account?

 
If you do not have a Showpass account, you’ll be prompted to make one. You will not be able to add your digital tickets to your wallet without creating a Showpass account and logging in.

In your orders page: please note, if you do not see an option to download PDF tickets from the 'My Orders' page, your event might be using NFC tickets. This means your ticket will be added directly to your digital wallet.

From your Orders Page: Navigate to your order and find the prompt to add your ticket to your digital wallet. Follow the instructions provided to ensure your ticket is ready for entry.

Once added, your NFC ticket will appear in your digital wallet. There will be no barcode to scan; instead, the NFC technology will enable you to gain entry.

Need to knows:

Barcode Screenshots Not Accepted! A screenshot of your ticket’s barcode will not grant you access to the event. The barcode within your Showpass account and ‘My Orders’ page changes frequently, requiring the use of your digital ticket.

Account Login Requirement: You must be logged in to access and download your Apple or Google passes. The order page will only be accessible to logged-in users.
 
Digital Wallet Integration: Customers can add a single ticket or an entire order to your digital wallet. Note that the limit is 10 items for Apple, unlimited for Google.
 
NFC Ticket Use: The NFC technology built into the tickets in your Apple or Google wallet, along with the scanning devices at the event, will allow you entry without the need for a barcode.  
 
NFC Pass Distribution: NFC tickets for Apple and Google will be sent and linked to your account, ensuring they can only be used by you. 

Customer Support for Account Changes: If you create a new iCloud account after your old account was linked to your Showpass account, you will need to contact Showpass to unlink the old iCloud account. Your old tickets will be voided, and new ones issued to prevent misuse.

What are NFC tickets, and how do they work?

NFC tickets are digital tickets linked to your Apple or Google Wallet. After purchasing, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to add your ticket to your wallet. At the event, simply tap your phone at the entrance to gain entry—no barcode scanning required.
 

Do I need a Showpass account to use NFC tickets?

Yes, you need a Showpass account to add your NFC tickets to your digital wallet. If you don’t have an account, you’ll be prompted to create one during the ticket purchase process.
 

How do I add my NFC tickets to my digital wallet?

After purchasing your tickets, check your confirmation email for instructions on adding your tickets to your Apple or Google Wallet. You can also access your tickets via your Showpass account in the "My Orders" section.
 

How do I know if my event uses NFC tickets?

If your "My Orders" page doesn’t show an option to download PDF tickets, your event likely uses NFC tickets, which must be added to your digital wallet.
 

Can I use a screenshot of my NFC ticket for entry?

No, screenshots are not valid for entry. The barcode on NFC tickets rotates frequently for security reasons. Only the NFC-enabled ticket in your digital wallet will work for entry.
 

What happens if I change my iCloud or Google account after purchasing my tickets?

If you create a new account, you will need to contact Showpass support to unlink your old account. New tickets will then be issued to prevent any misuse of your previous tickets.
 

How do I gain entry to the event with my NFC ticket?

At the event, simply tap your phone on the NFC scanner at the entrance. There’s no need to scan a barcode; the NFC system allows for quick and easy access.
 

What if I experience issues with my NFC ticket?

If you encounter any issues, refer to the instructions in your confirmation email or contact Showpass support for assistance with your tickets or account.
 

How do NFC tickets work at the event?
