Please note that resales are not available for products, memberships, complimentary tickets, or cash sales.
Putting Tickets up for Resale
- Go to the ‘My Orders’ tab in your customer profile to access your tickets.
- Find the order containing the tickets you want to resell.
- Click “Order Options.”
- Look for the “Resell your tickets” option. If the event organizer allows ticket resale, this option will appear. If it does not, resale is not enabled for this event.
- Select “Resell your tickets” and choose the tickets you wish to resell from the pop-up modal.
- Click “Confirm” to proceed.
- Your tickets will be marked as “Resale in Progress” until they are purchased by another buyer.
Once your tickets have resold, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Showpass will always attempt to process the refund, including the face value of the ticket(s) and applicable taxes, to your original payment method. If for whatever reason that fails, you will receive an email requesting you to update your payment method.
Updating payment method in the case of a failed refund
Click on the "Update payment method" button in the email from Showpass to continue to your resale order.
Select "Manage" under the Resale tab to update your payment method.
Click on "Add" in the pop up modal that follows.
Fill out your payment method and then click on "Agree and save".
Complete the process by selecting your preferred payment method in the next step for your resale deposit. Select "Set payment method".
Once the refund or payment has been processed, please allow up to 10 business days for the reversal to show up in on your account statement.
Cancelling your ticket resale
- Navigate to the ‘My Orders’ tab in your customer profile to view your tickets.
- Locate the order containing the tickets you previously listed for resale.
- Click “View Order” to access the detailed order page.
- In the “Resale” section of the order page, select “Cancel Resale.”
- Confirm the cancellation in the pop-up modal to finalize your decision.
- Refresh the order page to confirm your tickets have been reactivated, with barcodes now available in your account!
