Joining a Waitlist

Event sold out before you could get your hands on some tickets? Be the first in line for added inventory with Waitlists!
 
Please note that this feature is not standard across Showpass events, and organizers have the ability to enable or disable Waitlists on their events.
 
To join a waitlist, the process is simple. Click on the “Buy Tickets” button as you normally would.

There, you will see the sold out ticket type with a “Join Waitlist” button. Click it and enter your desired number of tickets.

Click “Join Waitlist” at the bottom. Please note that your cart must be empty for you to join a waitlist. You can also only join one waitlist at a time. Should you wish to join multiple waitlists, you must go through these checkout processes separately.

You will then be directed towards the “Review” page to review your order, then to confirm your “Purchaser Info,” then to your "Payment" information if credit card verification is required by the organizer to join the waitlist. Your credit card will not be charged until tickets become available. In the event that tickets do become available, your credit card will be automatically charged and if successful, your tickets will be issued and delivered.

If credit card verification is not required by the organizer to join this waitlist, once your information has been entered you will see a "no payment information required notice" as seen below.

Finally, you will see a confirmation screen, along with a confirmation email sent to your inbox.

If you reach the end of the waitlist, and there was no credit card information required to join the waitlist, the purchase email below will be delivered to your inbox. It will provide you with 24 hours to complete the purchase before the tickets are offered to the next customer in line.

Once the purchase is successful, whether that be through a credit card verified waitlist or a non-credit card verified waitlist, you will receive another confirmation email containing your tickets.

To manage your Waitlists, navigate to the "Waitlists" tab in your customer dashboard. There you can manage your Waitlist(s). You can view the status, as well as leave the Waitlist if you would no longer like to be in queue for tickets. The yellow "Pending" flag indicates that you have successfully joined the Waitlist and the event is pending additional tickets to be added to the inventory. The green "Complete" flag indicates that your card has been charged successfully and tickets have been sent to your inbox. Finally, the red "Cancelled" flag indicates that either you have chosen to leave the Waitlist, or the event date has passed and no tickets were issued to you. Screenshot 2023-10-02 at 11.22.06 AM.png
