Missed out on tickets to a sold-out event? Don’t worry! Waitlists give you the opportunity to be first in line when more tickets become available!
Waitlists and resales are only available for events where the organizer has enabled these features. If an event simply says “Sold Out” with no “Join Waitlist” option, then a waitlist is not available for that event.
How to Join a Waitlist for Sold-Out Events
On the event’s ticketing page:- If all ticket types are sold out: You’ll see a “Join Waitlist” button directly on the event detail page.
- If only some ticket types are sold out: Click the “Buy Tickets” button to view the available ticket types. For sold-out options, you’ll see a “Join Waitlist” button instead of an “Add to Cart” button.
First, ensure your cart is empty before proceeding. If you wish to join multiple waitlists, repeat these steps for each ticket type separately.
- Click “Join Waitlist” on the event detail page (if all tickets are waitlisted).

- Alternatively, click “Join Waitlist” next to the sold-out ticket type in the "Buy Tickets" modal.

- Select the number of tickets you’d like to request. Then, click “Join Waitlist”.
- Provide payment information if required by the event organizer.

- If payment is required, your card will be charged automatically, and tickets will be issued to you if they become available.
- Complete the purchase as you would for a regular ticket order to secure your place on the waitlist.

- Look for a confirmation screen and email confirming you’ve successfully joined the waitlist and are now in line for available tickets!
To manage your Waitlists, go to the “Waitlists” tab in your customer dashboard.
Here, you can:
- View your status on the Waitlist.
- Leave the Waitlist if you no longer want to remain in line for tickets.
Waitlist statuses are indicated by the following flags:
- Yellow “Pending”: You’ve successfully joined the Waitlist, and the event is waiting for additional tickets to be added.
- Green “Complete”: Your card has been charged, and tickets have been sent to your inbox.
- Red “Cancelled”: You’ve chosen to leave the Waitlist, or the event date has passed without tickets being issued.
