Ticket buyer guide: How to transfer, cancel, or return tickets and products

Showpass allows you to easily manage transfers for tickets, products, and memberships—whether you're sending, modifying, cancelling, or returning them. This guide walks you through each available option.

Transferring your tickets or items

  • Log in to your Showpass account and go to the My Orders page.
  • Find the order containing the items you want to transfer and click Order Options.

  • Select Transfer to a friend.

  • Choose the tickets, products, or memberships you wish to transfer and click Continue.

  • Enter the recipient’s email address and click Send Transfer.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation message once the transfer has been sent.

Modifying the recipient’s email

  • If you entered the wrong email and the transfer is still pending, go back to My Orders and click View Order.

  • In the transfer section, click the three dots beside the transfer and select Modify Recipient.

  • Update the email and click Modify Recipient to confirm.

  • A confirmation message will appear once the change is successful.

Cancelling a pending transfer

  • Go to the Ticket Transfers section on the order detail page.
  • Find the transfer in progress and click Cancel Transfer.

  • The items will be returned to your account as long as the transfer has not yet been completed.

Resending a transfer email

  • Go to My Orders and click View Order for the applicable order.
  • In the Ticket Transfers section, click the three dots next to the recipient's email.

  • Select Resend Email.

  • A confirmation message will appear when the email has been resent successfully.

Returning transferred items to the sender

  • If you’ve received a transferred ticket or product but cannot attend, you can return it to the sender.
  • Open your order and click Order Options, then select Return items to sender.

  • Select the item(s) to return and click Return Items.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation message once the return is complete.

Important notes

  • Transfers can only be completed once per item.
  • You can only modify or cancel a transfer if it hasn’t been accepted yet.
  • Only transferred items can be returned to the original purchaser.
