Ticket buyer guide: How to use the Showpass buyer app
The Showpass buyer app makes it easy to browse events, complete your ticket purchases, and access all your orders from one place. Here’s a walkthrough of key features to help you navigate the app with confidence.
Before you begin
- Download the app:
- Log in using your Showpass account credentials or connect via Facebook.
App navigation overview
- Explore: Search events by date, location, or category. Browse trending or upcoming events.
- Saved: Tap the heart icon on any event to add it to your Saved section for quick access later.
- Upcoming: Automatically shows events for which you’ve purchased tickets, listed by date.
- Orders: Central hub for all ticket and product information, including your Universal QR Code.
- Account: Update your personal info, login details, payment methods, and notification preferences.
How to manage your orders
- Tap Orders to view:
- Universal QR Code for quick event access.
- Upcoming: View your next events by date.
- My Orders: View all past and current ticket purchases. Tap View Order for full details.
- Memberships: Access scan-ready passes and benefits.
- Products: Review merchandise or event-related items.
- Credits: See Universal, Organizer, and Ticket Credits. Redeem gift cards here too.
What you can do in 'Order Options'
- Download tickets or add them to your digital wallet.
- Contact the event organizer directly.
- Transfer your ticket to someone else (if allowed).
- Resend your confirmation email to yourself.
How to manage your account
- Tap Account to:
- Edit your name, email, or password.
- Manage saved payment methods.
- Adjust notification preferences.

How can I pull up my order history?
After logging into your account, you can find your order history by clicking on the ‘Orders’ button at the bottom of the screen and then selecting the ‘My Orders’ option from the menu.
Where can I find my tickets?
Clicking into the ‘View Order’ option for a specific transaction will bring up the ticket's QR code. Additionally, all of your tickets purchases are also stored in your Universal QR code. The Universal QR Code stores all of your ticket and product purchases under one single QR code, including memberships, making it unique to your account.
Will my account information and previous ticket purchases appear on the app?
Yes, all of your account information, including previous ticket purchases, will appear after you log in.
Can I view my memberships in the app?
Yes, you can find your membership information by clicking on the ‘Orders’ button at the bottom of the screen and then selecting the 'Memberships’ option from the menu.
Does the app work with assigned seating events?
Yes, it is compatible with assigned seating events.
Does the app work with ticket packages?
Yes, you can purchase ticket packages from the app.
Can I complete guest checkout in the app?
Yes, you can complete guest checkout in the app. However, you will need to login in order to see your saved and upcoming events, as well as your orders and tickets.
Where can I access my credits?
After you log into your account, click on the ‘Orders’ button at the bottom of the screen. You will then be presented with a menu with a list of options. Clicking on the ‘Credits’ option will allow you to:
- Redeem gift cards for credits
- Allow you to view your existing credits by type
- Universal Credits: Can be redeemed for any event on Showpass and are not specific to any one organizer.
- Organizer Credits: Can only be used for purchases with the organization that issued the credits.
- Ticket Credits: Credits that are to be redeemed for future events
