Apple has made some security updates with their latest version of iOS 14 that may affect your Facebook Ads. In order to mitigate the impact of these changes on your Facebook Ad Campaigns, we recommend you take the following steps:
1. Verify your domain in your Facebook Business manager.
These steps are only required for clients who are utilizing Facebook ads, and have their Facebook pixels in the Showpass system for conversion tracking.
We have prioritized the following Facebook Pixel Conversions from showpass.com
- Public Event Page
- Public Membership Page
- Add to Cart
- Checkout Page
- Post-Checkout page
This update will not impact the Showpass Facebook event integration feature.
Please Note: Facebook users will now be shown a prompt in order for iOS 14 devices to allow for data tracking across different websites. If the user does not allow tracking, there may be negative impacts on ad conversions and event tracking that are beyond Showpass’ control.
