Guide to Check-in Presets
What’s a check-in preset?
Check-in presets are premade selections of events, tickets, and other item types that users can choose for check-in. By using a check-in preset, you won’t need to repeatedly select items for scanning, saving yourself time; especially if you manage multiple events or ticket types. An example use case; if you have different lines, doors, or entrance points for different ticket holders, a check-in preset can include everything needed for that specific entry point (like VIP and GA).
Creating a check-in preset on the app
- Select all events, ticket types, products and memberships you’d like to include in your preset
- Click on “Next”. On the next page you’ll finalize your selection by clicking on Create Preset (instead of clicking on Start Scanning).
- Give your preset a name and click on Create Preset to save.
- Once your preset is locked in, tap Start Scanning to begin!
→ Ticket type selection screen to include in you check-in preset
Selecting a check-in preset for scanning
- After you’ve selected Check-in from the app menu, select Presets from the selection page.
- Choose which preset you’d like to scan and click Next.
- Confirm your selection on the next screen and select Start Scanning to begin.
Modifying a check-in preset
- Select Presets from the selection menu.
- Choose the preset you wish to modify.
- Continue to add, remove or modify the ticket types included.
- Click on Update Preset to confirm changes.
