The opening date for Imagine Van Gogh The Original Immersive Exhibition in Image Totale © at the Edmonton EXPO Centre is July 6th, 2021 running through to September 5th. We continue to be committed to opening in Edmonton with an extended run of the exhibition!
To make this transition as easy as possible, Showpass has automatically moved all ticket holders over to the new event dates. A confirmation email with your new tickets attached was sent on Friday, June 11th. If your newly assigned date or time does not work for you, you will also have the option to exchange those tickets for another time or request a refund by following the instructions in the email you received.
What's Happening to My Tickets?
For all guests who currently have valid tickets, you don't need to do anything. Your tickets will automatically transition over to the new dates and will be for the same day of the week and time slot where possible. You will receive your new tickets via email by 3PM MST on Friday, June 11th.
Along with your new tickets, you will also be given the ability to exchange for any available time slot during the new event run or request a full refund directly within the email by clicking the “Request Refund” button. You can also exchange your tickets directly from your Showpass account via the "Invoices" tab. Please note, there may be additional costs associated if you opt to upgrade your tickets (e.g. Weekend or Flex Passes). Please do not reach out directly for refunds in the meantime*.
When Will I Receive My New Tickets?
For all guests who currently have valid tickets you will receive your new tickets via email on June 11th by 3PM. If we are unable to reallocate your ticket to a matching day and time you will be contacted by Showpass with alternative options to exchange your tickets.
When will I receive instructions to refund or exchange my tickets?
Instructions were initially sent on May 31st and you will receive a follow-up email with your new tickets again on June 11th. This will include links to request refunds during a two-week window.
What are the new dates?
The event is scheduled to open to the public on July 6th and run through September 5th.
How Do I Get A Refund?
For anyone not able to, or choosing not to attend the reassigned dates, you will be given the option to request a refund for your purchase directly from the email you receive from Showpass on June 11th, using the “Request Refund” button. This will refund you fully for all tickets in that email account for Imagine Van Gogh. Please do not forward the email, since it will be unique to your account. Please do not reach out directly for refunds.
*If you requested a refund prior to May 31st, it is currently in the queue to be processed and you will be receiving a refund confirmation in the next week.
When Can I Get a Refund
You can request a refund via the email you receive June 11th. You will be receiving an email from Showpass on that day which will include a "Request Refund" button. Clicking this button will refund you fully for all tickets for Imagine Van Gogh. This refund capability will be available until June 25th, 2021. It may take up to 30 days for the refund to be processed and for funds to be released back to your bank account depending on your financial institution. Please do not forward the email, since it will be unique to your account. Please do not reach out directly for refunds.
I Clicked the Request Refund Button, Now What?
After you clicked the Request Refund button in your email you should have been prompted to a webpage that confirms the information for the order you are opting to refund. If this is correct click the Confirm Refund button. You'll see a pop-up confirming your request has been submitted. You're all set! No further action is needed and your funds will be returned within 30 days to your purchasing card. Please note, this action will refund all tickets for Imagine Van Gogh that you currently hold under your Showpass account.
How Long Will it Take to Get My Money Back
Due to the current volume, it may take up to 30 days for the funds to be released back to your card depending on your financial institution. Funds will be returned to the original purchase method. How Do I Exchange My Tickets
The option to exchange your tickets for Imagine Van Gogh: The Immersive Exhibition will be available once the new event run is confirmed and available.
To begin your exchange click the Exchange Tickets button in the email you will be receiving from Showpass. Alternatively, you can head over to https://www.showpass.com/user/invoices/ and select “Exchange Tickets” below the order you wish to exchange. When reviewing your order you must ensure APPLY EXCHANGE CREDIT is selected or you will still be charged for the transaction.
- You must be logged into your Showpass account to facilitate the exchange
- If you checked out as a guest during your purchase you must claim your tickets to a Showpass account before you can exchange
- You cannot exchanges multiple orders at the same time
- If the new tickets are more expensive you will be required to pay the difference, for lesser value tickets you will be issued a credit
- Showpass is not able to exchange tickets on your behalf
- Beyond Van Gogh in Calgary is not affiliated with this event, exchanges between locations are not possible

I Reset My Password and Have Not Received an Email?
Please make sure you have an account with Showpass registered to that email, if you do not, for security purposes no email will be sent. You may have checked out as a guest in which case see above to claim your account.
My Tickets Were Transferred to Me, What Now?
If you are looking to exchange or refund your tickets you must contact the original purchaser and have them do so. They can then transfer you the new tickets.
